Metal roof aka the “forever roof” can be an excellent choice for residential applications, particularly in comparison to the less durable, temporary roof types such as clay tiles. Metal roofs are currently becoming more popular than tile roofs due to their excellent value for money.

Metal roof are mostly made from steel or aluminium which can be also made from zinc, titanium or even copper (can lasts up to 100 years)

A metal roof can withstand the elements for far longer than a conventional roof. Sun or rain, a metal roof will remain attractive and weatherproof for a very long time.
Metal is a sustainable and durable alternative with properly installation it should last for about 30 - 50 years depending on the exact materials, aid in sealing out water and strong winds. Metal roofs can last at least three times as long as asphalt shingles, without requiring as much maintenance.

Metal roof beats out conventional roofing materials in terms of heat conduction as well. Metal reflects radiant heat from the sun, minimizing midday heat gain with proper insulation installation with high R-value. Metal reflects most of the heat during the day without transferring it into the house, while any heat absorbed is quickly released during the night.

Most metal roofing comes in wide panels and a skillful roof contractor can install these very quickly and thus, shortening the installation process comparing to the roof tiles system. Great for house owners in expediting their house construction.

The minimal roof pitch required as low as 3 degrees has a better advantage for those who seek for more simple and sleek roof design.
